Kathmandu. Pathibhara Devi Darshan Cable Car Company has called for talks with the protesting parties opposing the construction of the cable car under construction in Pathibhara, Taplejung district.

Issuing a press release today, the company said that through a press conference organized in Kathmandu last week, various local organizations including youth have been urged to find solutions through dialogue and discussion to identify some issues of concern to the locals related to the cable car under construction in Pathibhara, Taplejung district, and to create a comfortable environment for the construction of the project. The company has taken it positively.

The company has always highly respected the demands and concerns of the locals and will provide all possible support to preserve and promote the local religion, culture, identity and civilization. The company has expressed its commitment.

The company stated that the project is in the process of construction after completing all government procedures, including environmental impact assessment, as per the standards of the Government of Nepal required for the construction of the project. It has also informed that the project will be built in accordance with local art, culture, identity and religious traditions and will move forward by negotiating, discussing and coordinating with local people’s representatives and all stakeholders as required.

“We believe that any problem can be solved through dialogue and dialogue. We positively take the request made by local youth for dialogue and dialogue for identity regarding the issues seen in the construction of the cable car and are ready to engage in dialogue and dialogue on this issue,” the statement said.
