Commerce Department issues ultimatum to 10 companies, including Hongsi Cement, to appear with documents

Kathmandu. The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection has monitored 10 companies on Baisakh 11. The department has given time to various companies to appear with documents.

The department has directed Hongsi Shivam Cement Pvt. Ltd., which has the largest turnover in the country, to appear with documents within three days. Shivam Cement has been asked to appear with documents for not working according to the Consumer Protection Act 2075 BS.

The department has imposed a fine of Rs 250,000 on Premier Overseas Pali. The department has asked BSG Nepal Pvt. Ltd. to stop the sale and distribution of goods and to appear before the department within three days.

Similarly, the department has given time to Mittal Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Premier Wires Pvt. Ltd., Prime Cable Pvt. Ltd. and other companies to appear with documents.
