Mustang. Sewing training has been started for prisoners of the district prison. A one-month sewing training has been conducted from today under the organization of the Tourism and Industry Office with the aim of developing the skills of male prisoners, earning income, making them professional and self-reliant.
10 male prisoners will be trained with the financial support of the Tourism and Industry Office and the management of the prison branch, said Lalbabu Sahni, acting chief of the Mustang prison branch. Out of a total of 12 prisoners in the prison, two prisoners could not participate in the training due to their old age, said Acting Chief Sahni.
Prem Poudel, chief of the Tourism and Industry Office, informed that the office has provided sewing materials along with a trainer to train the prisoners. Representatives from the District Administration Office and the Chief Administrative Officer of Gharpajhong Rural Municipality, Bedahari Adhikari, jointly inaugurated the training today.
