Kathmandu. National Assembly member Bamdev Gautam has said that all land should be nationalized. Speaking at a meeting of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee under the National Assembly on Tuesday, he said this.
He argued that the country cannot be developed unless it moves forward in a planned manner by nationalizing all of Nepal’s land. He said that a development blueprint should be drawn up according to the needs after nationalizing all of Nepal’s land. He argued that it is not possible to solve the problems of basic needs in the country through discussions alone.
He argued that those who will become prime ministers should be called to the discussions and promised to sit down if they cannot work. Gautam insists that the system of holding individual land should be ended forever.
