Gold price hits new record, 197,900 per tola

Kathmandu. The price of gold has increased by Rs 6,900 per tola on the third trading day of the week, setting a new record.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants Federation, gold was traded at Rs 197,900 per tola on Tuesday. The previous day (Monday) it was traded at Rs 191,000 per tola.

Also, the price of silver has increased by Rs 10 per tola today. Silver was bought and sold at Rs 1,970 on Tuesday.
