Kathmandu. The Cabinet meeting has begun at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has begun the Cabinet meeting with the resignation of Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai.
The meeting will discuss the issue of accepting the resignation of Education Minister Bhattarai. It is understood that the appointment of the Governor of the National Bank will not take place. According to a source in the Prime Minister’s Office, there is no agenda to appoint a Governor on Monday.
There is a heated dispute between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba over the issue of the appointment of the Governor.
President Deuba is warning Oli that if the person he has named is not the Governor, he will topple the government. He has given an ultimatum to Prime Minister Oli and flown to Thailand.
