Kathmandu. Former Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has said that he did not take a single bribe during the construction of Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports. Bhattarai said that he worked without taking bribes from 2076 Shrawan 15 to 2077 Paush 5.

On social media, leader Bhattarai said, “I was in charge of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Urban Affairs from 2076 Shrawan 15 to 2077 Paush 5. During that time, if any decision under my signature regarding Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports caused any damage to the state, it is a challenge to the factory that produces sponsored news against me to make it public with evidence.

I understand very well how eager those who have misused their power and position to get into the swamp of corruption and injustice are to eat the cucumber themselves and stick the seeds on the foreheads of others. If you are not sure that you can escape by doing a media trial, .

Those who point fingers at me are the ones who will be punished. I have the document. If necessary, make it public.” The Public Accounts Committee of Parliament had prepared a report stating that there was more than 10 billion rupees of corruption during the construction of two airports. He gave the clarification after demands were raised that action should be taken against Yogesh Bhattarai in that report.
