Parsa. Capital expenditure targeted at the development and construction of government offices in Parsa has been seen to be low. Out of the Rs 2.73 billion capital expenditure allocated for government offices in Parsa in the current fiscal year, only 27.96 percent, or Rs 766 million, has been spent in the period up to mid-Chait.
Manoj Kumar Joshi, Chief Treasury Controller of the Treasury and Accounts Controller’s Office, Parsa, said that government offices in Parsa have not been able to make capital expenditure as expected. “There are less than three months left for the current fiscal year to end,” he said. “Even at the level of the federal government, the offices here are not able to make capital expenditures.” He requested that development work be carried out by making capital expenditures.
64.89 percent, or 6.89 billion, of the Rs 10.62 billion allocated for current expenditures for government offices in Parsa in the current fiscal year. Government offices in Parsa have collected Rs 1061 billion in revenue during the period up to mid-Chait of the current fiscal year. Government offices here had collected Rs 1051 billion in revenue during the same period last fiscal year. There are more than 60 offices under the federal government in Parsa.
