Kathmandu. The National Planning Commission has submitted a report on policy and program discussions on budget formulation for the fiscal year 2082/083 to the Ministry of Finance. At a program organized at the Ministry of Finance, Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission Prof. Dr. Shivaraj Adhikari submitted the report to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel.
Finance Minister Poudel said that policy, legal and structural reforms are being carried out to improve the economy and as a result, all indicators of the economy have been positive in recent days. He informed that the economy is improving and the budget for the coming fiscal year will also focus on building a strong economy.
Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission Prof. Dr. Adhikari said that the report was prepared after extensive consultations and discussions with the ministries, agencies and the commission with the aim of facilitating coordination between ministries and budget formulation for the coming fiscal year.
