Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has provided food for 18 days to the homeless and organized a free health camp. On the occasion of its 18th annual celebration, the bank has provided food for 18 days to about 1900 homeless and mentally unstable people living on the streets from Chaitra 20 to Baisakh 5.
The bank is celebrating its 18th annual celebration on Baisakh 7. In collaboration with Bhotus Indira Social Welfare Organization, the bank distributed food to homeless people living on river banks, roadsides and under bridges in Jorpati, Chabahil, Boudha, Maiti Devi, Setopul, Purano Baneshwor, Bhimsengola, Battisputali, Sinamangal, Gaushala and other places in Kathmandu.
Also, on the occasion of the anniversary, the bank organized free health camps in all 7 provinces from Chaitra 2 to Baisakh 5. Health camps were organized in Haldibari and Mahendra Chowk in Koshi Province, Vidyapati Chowk in Madhesh Province, Budhanilkantha in Bagmati Province, Amarapuri in Gandaki Province, Hospital Line and Jeetpur in Lumbini Province, Srinagar and Dullu in Karnali Province, and Mahendranagar in Sudurpaschim Province. About 1700 patients have benefited from these health camps.
Every year, the bank organizes various programs on the occasion of its annual festival and provides financial support to organizations working for social transformation. In the coming days, the bank has informed that it plans to conduct various programs to bring positive changes in the social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. sectors under the Corporate Social Responsibility program.

It has also introduced the facility of share application and CRN number service through the mobile banking app for the first time in Nepal. Citizens Bank International Limited has been providing modern banking services to 1.879 million customers through its 200 branches, 168 ATMs, 3 extended counters, and 74 branchless banking units spread across 61 districts across the country.
