Chitwan. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the administrative building of Ichchakamana Rural Municipality during a ceremony here today. The administrative building of Ichchakamana, the only rural municipality in Chitwan district, was built at a cost of Rs 309 million.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the municipality building, Prime Minister Oli said that the government is working day and night for the country and the people, including good governance, development, prosperity and political stability.
On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh said that the current government comprising two major political parties is committed to providing good governance along with development and construction without following rumors. Emphasizing that the municipality residents should be provided with facilities accordingly after the office work starts in the new building, he drew the attention of the concerned parties to provide services without delay in the work of the people,
Rural Chairperson Dan Bahadur Gurung informed that Ichchakamana Rural Municipality, which has tourism potential, is working as per the Prime Minister’s resolve to build ‘Happy Nepalis, Prosperous Nepal’. Chief Administrative Officer of the Rural Municipality Chandrakant Basnet informed that the administrative building was completed at a cost of 39 million. According to him, the construction of the building was completed with the joint investment of the federal government, District Coordination Committee Chitwan and the rural municipality. Former people’s representatives were honored on the occasion.
