Stock market surges by double digits on Thursday, trading volume exceeds Rs 10.79 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by double digits on the last trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has closed at 2725.20 points, up 28.97 points.

On Thursday, 237,733 shares of 311 companies were bought and sold, raising a total of Rs 10,797,363,282. The previous day (Wednesday), a total of Rs 7,265,122,241 was traded.

Himalayan Power Partner Limited had the highest turnover on Thursday. The company raised Rs 1,582,251 more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 660 per share.

On Thursday, while the share price of 187 companies increased, the share price of 59 companies decreased.

Also, on Thursday, the share price of 2 companies entered a positive circuit, while the share price of one company decreased by 4.79%.
