Kathmandu. The Hydrology and Meteorology Division has stated that the country is currently under the influence of local winds and the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly parts and clear in the rest of the country.
This afternoon, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in the hilly areas of the country including Koshi Province and one or two places in other provinces. In addition, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of the country.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Koshi Province and clear in the rest of the country tonight. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Light rain and snowfall are possible at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
