Kathmandu. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, a revenue of Rs 4.39 billion 4.686 billion has been collected from real estate transactions. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, revenue collection has increased by 11.31 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
In the same period of the previous fiscal year, a revenue of Rs 3.94 billion 8.136 billion was collected. The department’s statement states that real estate transactions are gradually returning to normal and revenue collection is also gradually increasing.
According to the department, Rs 318.357 billion has been collected from service tax, Rs 2.387 billion 7.611 billion from registration fee and Rs 1.645 billion 5.111 billion from capital gains tax. Similarly, the Land Revenue Office, Lagankhel, Lalitpur is the one that collects the most revenue of all. The office has collected Rs 378.917 crore in revenue.

In the month of Chaitra, 49,832 land titles have been passed by Land Revenue Offices across the country. Land revenue offices had approved 50,252 land deeds across the country during the same period last fiscal year.
Inaruwa, Sunsari is at the top of the list of those who approved the most land deeds in the month of Chait. Inaruwa has approved 1,896 land deeds in the entire month of Chait. Similarly, Bhadrapur, Jhapa is in second place, which has approved 1,804 land deeds.
Similarly, 1,714 land deeds have been approved from Belwari Morang, 1,538 from Janakpurdham, Dhanusha, and 1,409 from Rajbiraj, Saptari.
