Kathmandu. Medical practitioner Durga Prasai, who had absconded after the Tinkune incident, has been taken into police custody. He was taken into custody from Bhadrapur in Jhapa and is being brought to Kathmandu for necessary investigation, the police said.
Central Police Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya issued a press release today and informed that Prasai and his aide Deepak Khadka have also been arrested.
Police said that they were arrested for committing crimes against the state and organized crime by being involved in the violent protest held by former royalists in Tinkune, Kathmandu on Chaitra 15.
