Citizens Bank donates 10 waiting chairs to Himalaya Eye Hospital, Pokhara

Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has provided 10 waiting chairs to Himalaya Eye Hospital located in Gharipatan, Kaski District, Pokhara, Gandaki Province under its Corporate Social Responsibility program.

The bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the materials as support during a ceremony organized at the hospital. The hospital has been providing excellent service to patients with eye problems since its establishment.

Addressing the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer Pokharel expressed his belief that this support from the bank will make the stay of patients and visitors to the hospital easy and comfortable. He also said that he was happy to provide support, even in a small way, to the health sector.

In the coming days, the bank has informed that it plans to conduct various programs under its Corporate Social Responsibility program to bring positive changes in the social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. sectors.

The bank, which has been successful in winning the world’s prestigious award ‘Bank of the Year 2024’, has recently launched the ‘Citizens PhonePay Credit Card’ (virtual credit card) for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with PhonePay. It has also introduced the facility of share application and CRN number service through the mobile banking app for the first time in Nepal.
