Prime Minister Oli accepts the resignation of Vice Chancellor Keshar Jung Baral

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Oli Sharma has accepted the resignation of Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor Keshar Jung Baral. Prime Minister Oli accepted Baral’s resignation on Thursday.

The then CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda had made Baral the Vice Chancellor when he was the Prime Minister. As soon as Oli became the Prime Minister, the dispute between Vice Chancellor Baral and Prime Minister Oli increased.

However, Vice Chancellor Baral has mentioned in his resignation letter that he resigned citing health reasons. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has stated that Oli accepted the resignation, which came on Chaitra 15, 13 days later.
