Karnali Highway blocked due to rain

Kalikot. The Surkhet-Humla road section of the Karnali Highway has been blocked due to rain. The road has been blocked due to a landslide in Bhattadi, Raskot Municipality-8, Kalikot.

According to the District Police Office, the landslide in Sisne, Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality-3 has been cleared with the active participation of police, passengers and locals. The landslide in Bhattadi, Raskot Municipality-8 is being cleared by police, locals and excavators, said District Police Office Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat.

‘Landslide clearance is currently underway,’ he said, ‘the road will be cleared today itself.’
