Over 6.8 million rupees raised for the treatment of a four-year-old girl

Galkot. 68 lakh 86 thousand has been collected for the treatment of a four-year-old girl from Baglung Municipality-7. The family has stated that the money has been collected for the treatment of local four-year-old girl Sujebha Khatri.

The girl is currently undergoing treatment at Gangaram Hospital in India after contracting a disease called ‘Epilepsy’. The support campaign was launched after a press conference was held on Falgun 20, stating that there was a problem in treatment due to poor financial condition. The campaign was closed on Chaitra 19.

The girl’s father Sagar Khatri informed that the campaign was closed as Rs 68 lakh 86 thousand was collected during this period, while the aim was to collect Rs 5 million. He said that the support campaign was launched due to financial constraints after the family spent 5 million rupees on the girl’s treatment.

Khatri said that within a month of the campaign, more than the target amount was collected from ordinary Nepalis living in the country and abroad.
