Kathmandu. Artist Haribansha Acharya’s identity has been comedy and satirical farce and performance. However, after being awarded the Best Actor at the National Film Awards for the film ‘Mahapurush’ released in 2079 BS, he has been presenting himself in a different role than usual.

Even after reaching the age of sixty-six, he takes his work seriously and works hard like a new artist. In a recently organized interaction, actor Acharya said that discipline will make success last longer.

He said, whether acting in a film or a farce, my heart still beats, I feel fear in my heart. That fear is discipline for me. It inspires me to work hard, that’s why I feel like my artistic journey has come this far.”

He gets the energy to work because he has a healthy body, a calm mental state, and his thinking is like that of a 37-year-old youth. Because he does not let negativity remain in him, the work he does has created a place in society along with his art. Along with him, I, Madan Krishna Shrestha, from the Mah Jodi, are artists who have created a high place socially along with their art.

Actor Acharya, who started his artistic career through the stage, has not done a play for a long time. However, actor Acharya says that the farce and drama performed on stage are the same. Drama and farce are the same, there is no much difference. Because in both, the artist presents himself on stage in front of the audience, I did some farce this year too. That’s why I “It doesn’t seem like I’m far from drama,” he said.

He shared his experience that the art form learned here is sustainable because the stage is like a mother’s lap for the art field. Recalling that he learned drama and the style of dialogue spoken by an artist from Guru Hari Prasad Rimal at the National Theatre, actor Acharya expressed the opinion that those interested in acting should present themselves on the stage.

I learned that one acts with the eyes from Guru Rimal, and there I presented the play advertisement I did with Madan Dai in Nepal as well as abroad. We had staged around four hundred plays in Nepal alone. “Our acting career started from the stage,” he said.

The first film he acted in was ‘Kumari’. After seeing the advertisement for the actor in the Gorkhapatra daily, actor Acharya had applied for acting. Actor Acharya said that although he had presented a scene of the film well in front of the director of the film, he was not selected for the role.

Although he appeared in small roles, he got better and more screen time roles after ‘Jeevan Rekha’ and ‘Basudev’. After that, actor Acharya, who has been active in acting, is still working in the same way. Actor Acharya, who is also a writer and director himself, prefers to act in other people’s films. .

‘I feel comfortable working as an actor on a character created by others, but I have to work a little harder when playing a character I have written or directed myself,’ he said. The films ‘Bhutan’ and ‘Hari Bahadur’s Shoes’ in which he acted will be released next year, 2082 BS. RSS
