Stock market grows by double digits, trading volume exceeds Rs 5.22 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by double digits on the last trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2663.54 points, up 41.67 points.

On Thursday, 9772,196 shares of 309 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.22 billion, 3083,340 crore.

Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Thursday. The company collected Rs 511.8 million more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 1,020 per share.

On Thursday, while the share price of 227 companies increased, the share price of 16 companies decreased.

Also, on Thursday, the share price of 2 companies entered a positive circuit, while the share price of one company decreased by 1.82 points.
