Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by double digits on the fourth trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2623.21 points, up 40.47 points.
On Wednesday, 91,42,941 shares of 317 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.2 billion 44,894 crore.
Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Wednesday. The company has collected Rs 418.6 million more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 979 per share. While the share prices of 231 companies increased on Wednesday, the share prices of 12 companies decreased.
Also, on Wednesday, the share price of one company increased by 5.74 percent while the share price of one company decreased by 7.27 percent.
