Parsa. A ‘night market’ is to be operated in Birgunj on the occasion of the Nepali New Year. The night market is to be operated from Chaitra 29 to 31 at the old bus park in Adarshnagar, Birgunj under the organization of Birgunj Metropolitan City.
Birgunj Metropolitan City Mayor Rajeshman Singh informed that a night market is to be organized this year to stimulate the economy and market of Birgunj like in previous years. ‘We expect to create an environment where the market will operate until late after this market comes into operation,’ he said. The metropolis has been operating a night market before too.
The night market will feature stalls selling special dishes, clothes, cosmetics, utensils and other goods. The metropolis has stated that the night market will be operated in coordination with the Green City Community Service Police Center, NYEF, Birgunj Cycling Club, Omens Creation and 4GR.
