Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen by double digits on the fourth trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has fallen by 14.88 points to 2682.15 points.
On Wednesday, 95,83,829 shares of 311 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.14 billion 39,97,643. While the share prices of 53 companies increased on Wednesday, the share prices of 183 companies decreased while the share prices of 7 companies remained stable.
Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Wednesday. The company’s turnover was Rs 296,732,682. The company’s share price is at a low of Rs 976.80 per share.
On Wednesday, shares of Mithili Microfinance rose 9.39 percent, while shares of Community Microfinance fell 9.20 percent.
