Myagdi. One person has died in a jeep accident in Malika Rural Municipality of West Myagdi. Three people have been injured.
31-year-old Nagendra Rasaili of Chiuribot died on the spot when the jeep (Ga1J 5612) heading towards Malika-4, Chiuribot from Sungrepani fell 50 meters off the road, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Shrestha informed.
There were 5 people in the jeep, including the driver. The injured, 33-year-old Sher Bahadur Bik of Okharbot, 31-year-old Nagendra Gotame of Chiuribot, and 22-year-old Bhim Prasad Gotame, are undergoing treatment at Darbang Basic Hospital.
According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence. A team from the Area Police Office, Darbang has reached the spot.
