Parbat. The impact of the economic recession in the country, the increasing migration rate, and other impacts have directly affected the industries and businesses of Parbat. In the first six months of the current fiscal year, 133 industries have been deregistered in Parbat.

The Tourism and Industries Office has stated that 236 industries were closed in the fiscal year 2080/81, and the registration of those industries has been deregistered in the first six months of the current fiscal year. The number of industries and businesses that will be closed is significant compared to the industries and businesses registered with the office this year.

99 industries have been registered with the office in the current fiscal year. Out of which, 49 industries and 50 commercial firms have been registered, informed the office chief, Poshnath Sharma. Of those to be deregistered, 64 industries and 69 commercial firms are 64 industries and 69 commercial firms. He said that the number of service recipients coming to close down industries is increasing daily rather than registering industries.

Similarly, at the end of the fiscal year 2080/81, there were 3,413 industries, which have now decreased to 3,390, while there were 3,247 commercial firms, which have now decreased to 3,135, informed Office Chief Sharma. The number of industries has decreased by 135 in six months. Office Chief Sharma said that the trend of industries being displaced has increased due to the economic slowdown in the country, increasing exodus of youth, inability to compete with imported goods, lack of market, etc.

As industries have started leaving their businesses and going abroad, 20 percent of the market space has become vacant, said Thakur B. Poudel, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He said that the slowdown in business has led to an increase in the exodus of industrialists and businessmen. He informed that even after investing millions of rupees in industrial and business operations, the industry and businessmen themselves have had to be displaced because they could not generate sufficient income. . The number of cancellations is significantly higher compared to the number of industries registered after the Corona infection.

Although the industry registration process has increased after the government started providing incentive programs to industrialists to solve the unemployment problem, the number of closures has not stopped in the same proportion, Chairman Poudel said. The registration of industries for agriculture, livestock farms, fruit farming, cattle breeding, buffalo breeding, homestays, commercial goat breeding and other domestic products is increasing. It is said that the industry registration may have increased because students going for foreign employment have to show proof of having started their business in their own country. In terms of commercial firms, the number of firm closures is also high along with the number of registrations.

In some countries, a bank balance guarantee must be shown and when showing the balance, it must be shown in the name of the firm or company. For this, it has been seen that although those who require a certificate of firm or industry registration at the Tourism and Industry Office or at the local level register, there are few who do so from a commercial perspective.

Recently, the process of registering industries has started at the local level along with the Tourism and Industry Office. Since industries are registered by both bodies, businessmen have started getting confused about where to register. The Tourism and Industry Office has collected Rs 2.866 million in revenue in the current fiscal year.

42 tourism infrastructure projects are being developed through the office this year. The office has stated that 36 project agreements have been signed so far and six agreements are yet to be signed.
