Kathmandu. An important meeting has been held between the Tea Alliance of Nepal and Connect Farmers at the Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Koshi Province. The main objective of this meeting was to discuss strategies for promoting Nepal’s orthodox and specialty tea in the international market.
The meeting was attended by prominent figures including Koshi Province’s Minister for Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives Khagensing Hangam, Provincial Secretary Dr. Sharan Kumar Pandey, Director of Connect Farmers Rajan Dahal and Vice President of Tea Alliance of Nepal Jeevan Neupane.
Special attention was paid to the quality of tea, production technology and market recognition. Various strategies were proposed with the main objective of expanding the global market for Nepal’s finest tea and promoting the empowerment of tea farmers.
The joint efforts of Tea Alliance of Nepal and Connect Kisan are expected to strengthen Nepal’s tea industry in the international market and contribute to the economic prosperity of tea farmers.
