Agency. World peace has been disrupted as countries in the West and the Global North behave differently in each country.
In a plenary meeting on the second day of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, India, world leaders have expressed concern that peace has been disrupted due to the different ways in which countries in the Global North and the West behave differently in each country.
They have said that conflicts are increasing due to the fact that countries do not have a concrete agenda. They have also put forward the idea that the global order should be viewed from a different perspective. They have also said that the Global South should now gradually work for world peace.
Leaders said that the policies adopted by countries like Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Ukraine indicate that peace in the world has been disrupted. The leaders said that US dominance has disrupted world peace in the last decade and that it is impossible to say what will happen next with Donald Trump’s second term.
Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that no one can stop the growing dominance of the Global South and that the role of the Global South will be important for world peace in the future.
While there was a large presence of representatives from the global south at the conference that began on Monday, China, a large country bordering India, was not represented. Kathmandu Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol and Youth MP Yogesh Gauchan Thakali are also participating in the conference.
The program to discuss burning issues in South Asia and the Asia-Pacific region was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday during a special program. The dialogue, with the Prime Minister of New Zealand as the special guest, will last for 3 days. Foreign ministers, subject experts, and heads of various agencies from many countries around the world are participating in this dialogue.
This Raisina Dialogue has started under the name Kalachakra with the concept of people, peace, and the earth.
