Karnali. 37,911 candidates from Karnali Province will participate in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) to be conducted from Chaitra 20.
In the said examination, 3,338 candidates will participate in the general examination, 100 in the technical examination, 3,444 in the regular examination, and 224 in the grade promotion examination, informed Lok Prasad Poudel, Information Officer and Senior Education Officer of the Education Development Directorate, Karnali Province, Surkhet. According to him, among the 10 districts of Karnali Province, the highest number of candidates is in Surkhet with 9,513 and the lowest number is in Dolpa with 777.
Similarly, 6,196 candidates are from Dailekh, 4,668 from Jajarkot, 4,269 from Salyan, 4,089 from Kalikot, 3,668 from Rukum Paschim, 2,681 from Jumla, 1,144 from Humla and 9,46 from Mugu will appear for the exam, said Information Officer Poudel.
Similarly, out of 180 centers in the 10 districts, Surkhet has the highest number of 33 and Dolpa has the lowest number of four exam centers. The Directorate has stated that a total of 6,165 human resources will be mobilized, including 180 center heads, 252 assistant center heads, 1,895 inspectors, 380 examination assistants, 758 office assistants and 2,700 security personnel.
Information Officer Poudel informed that the necessary answer sheets have reached all 10 districts of Karnali Province and a two-day orientation program has been conducted with the district unit heads regarding the conduct and management of the examination.
Similarly, he said that the expenses for conducting and managing the examination have also been sent to all districts. The Directorate of Education Development, Surkhet, has stated that a total budget of Rs 13.93 million, 500, has been allocated to the district, including Rs 12.495 million for the examination center and Rs 14.34 million for the unit, to manage the examination.
