Kathmandu. President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that the government needs to try to create an investment-friendly environment by reforming the laws.
Speaking on the occasion of the 58th foundation day of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said that the government has created an investment environment by amending the law and there should be no delay in bringing the procedures now.
He thanked the government for addressing the demands of the private sector by amending the law. He said that the government has created an environment for domestic and foreign investment by changing the law. Stating that there should be no blame game between the private sector and the government, he stressed the need to move forward through collaboration between the private sector and the government.
He said, “The government has addressed many of our demands by amending the law. The government has worked to create an environment for domestic and foreign investment by changing the law. This demand was made by the private sector long ago. The private sector also believes that the private sector can do a lot of work in a short time if the procedures and regulations to be made in accordance with the law are made on time.”
He said that if resources are kept in one place and utilized, good results can be achieved.
