Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen by double digits on the first trading day of the week. On Sunday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 21.63 points to close at 2,714.85.

On Sunday, 13,974,452 shares of 316 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 6,836,640,407.

While the share prices of 31 companies increased on Sunday, the share prices of 207 companies decreased, while the share prices of 6 companies remained stable.

Himalayan Re Insurance had the highest turnover on Sunday. The company has a turnover of more than 586.6 million rupees. The company’s share price has reached 1 thousand rupees per share.

On Sunday, the share price of Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited increased by 8.19 percent, while the share price of Green Development Bank decreased by 7.91 percent.
