Kathmandu. Revenue worth Rs 4.12 billion has been collected from real estate transactions in the month of Falgun. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, which maintains details of real estate transactions across the country, there has been an increase in revenue collection in Falgun compared to the previous month.
The department’s statement states that real estate transactions are gradually returning to normal and revenue collection is also gradually increasing. According to the department, Rs 288.468 billion has been collected from service tax, Rs 2.203.789 billion from registration fee and Rs 1.577.164 billion from capital gains tax.
The department collected Rs 3.835 billion in Shrawan, Rs 3.909 billion in Bhadra, Rs 3.811 billion in Asoj, Rs 2.704 billion in Kartik, Rs 3.87 billion in Mangsir, Rs 4.252 billion in Poush and Rs 3.872 billion in Magh.
Land Revenue Office Kalanki collected Rs 226.1 million in Falgun, Land Revenue Office Chabahil collected Rs 216.852 billion, The department has stated that the Land Revenue Office, Lagankhel, collected Rs 382.8 million and the Land Revenue Office, Khairhani, Chitwan, collected Rs 394.41 million in revenue.
