Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has conferred ‘Long Service Awards’ to employees who have served the bank for 10 and 15 years of continuous service.
Amidst a program organized at the bank’s central office, Narayanhiti Path, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Raj Pokharel presented ‘Long Service Awards’ along with certificates to a total of 79 employees, including 61 employees who have served the bank for 10 years of continuous service and 18 employees who have served the bank for 15 years.
The bank is celebrating Employee Day today (Chait 1). The bank is organizing a month-long annual celebration program to mark its 18th anniversary and enter its 19th year.
The bank currently employs 1,800 employees. Addressing the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer Pokharel said that the hard work, dedication, commitment and responsibility of the employees have played a significant role in bringing the bank to its current state and urged them to contribute 100 percent in the coming days as well. At the same ceremony, the bank also released the calendar for the year 2082.
The bank, which has been successful in winning the prestigious award Bank of the Year 2024, has recently launched the ‘Citizens PhonePay Credit Card’ (virtual credit card) for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with PhonePay. It has also introduced the facility of share application and CRN number service through the mobile banking app for the first time in Nepal.
