Rupandehi. In the Prime Minister’s Cup cricket tournament, Bagmati Pradesh has set a target of 267 runs for Sudurpaschim Pradesh.
Batting first after winning the toss at the Extratech Oval Cricket Stadium in Rupandehi, Bagmati scored 266 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs with the help of half-centuries from Ashutosh Ghiraiya and Shubh Kansakar. Ghiraiya scored 58 runs in 101 balls with the help of five fours. Similarly, Kansakar scored 77 runs in 68 balls with the help of five fours and four sixes.
Similarly, Ishan Pandey contributed 36, Prithu Baskota 15 and Pratis GC 15 runs. In the bowling department, Sudurpaschim’s Hemant Dhami, Sher Malla and Surya Shrestha took two wickets each, while Narayan Joshi and Rahul Bhandari took one wicket each. Sudurpaschim is now batting in reply against Bagmati.
