Commercial banks disbursed 93.22 billion shares in collateralized loans in seven months, who gave how much?

Kathmandu. The flow of share collateral loans (margin-type loans) from banks and financial institutions is increasing. In the 7 months of the current fiscal year, commercial banks have disbursed share collateral loans worth 93.225 billion rupees.

Nabil Bank is the first bank to disburse the largest number of share collateral loans in the 7 months of the current fiscal year. The bank has disbursed share collateral loans worth 12.9595 billion rupees in the first seven months. Similarly, Global IME Bank is in the second place to disburse the largest number of share collateral loans. As of mid-January, a total of 11.64 billion 91 million rupees have been disbursed to share-secured borrowers from the bank.

Kumari Bank is the third largest provider of share-secured loans, with 8.64 billion 20 million rupees in share-secured loans. Similarly, Siddhartha Bank has disbursed share-backed loans worth Rs 8.386 billion, Nepal Bank Rs 7.726 billion, Prime Commercial Bank Rs 6.555 billion, and Citizens Bank Rs 6.152 billion.

During the review period, Rastriya Banijya Bank has disbursed share-backed loans worth Rs 4.515 billion, Prabhu Bank Rs 4.325 billion, Laxmi Sunrise Bank Rs 4.107 billion, and Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) has disbursed share-backed loans worth Rs 2.951 billion.

Similarly, Everest Bank has disbursed share-backed loans worth Rs 2.684 billion, NIC Asia Bank Rs 2.538 billion, Sanima Bank has disbursed share-backed loans worth Rs 2.538 billion, According to the data released by the National Bank, the bank has disbursed share loans worth Rs 2.34 billion 7.8 million, the Agricultural Development Bank has disbursed Rs 2.39 billion 9.1 million, and the Himalayan Bank has disbursed share loans worth Rs 1.90 billion 7.2 million.

Similarly, NMB Bank has disbursed share loans worth Rs 1.77 billion 6.8 million, Machhapuchhre Bank has disbursed share loans worth Rs 1.38 billion 7.9 million, and Nepal SBI Bank has disbursed share loans worth Rs 472 million.
