Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has opened applications for the fifth cohort of the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) Fellowship Program.
The bank has stated that individuals who are interested in making a positive contribution to society through entrepreneurship can participate in this program, which was launched with the aim of promoting social entrepreneurship. Interested individuals can apply until Chaitra 25.
The Nabil SSE Fellowship Program, which is being run in collaboration with the School of Management under the Faculty of Management of Tribhuvan University, will run for 6 months. Which includes 18 days of free residential training and a one-year consulting program.
Through this, 56 entrepreneurs from three groups have been trained so far, while 1,184 people have been employed through 45 social enterprises. Currently, 20 entrepreneurs from the fourth group are undergoing training under the program, and 20 people will be selected from applications from all over the country in the fifth group, Nabil Bank has stated.
The eligibility for participation in the program is only to be a Nepali citizen who has completed the age of 18 years. According to the bank, people who have started a business and have innovative entrepreneurial ideas can apply for this program.

Entrepreneurs working in areas that are aligned with the goals of livelihood, education, health, information technology, art, community development, agriculture, energy, as well as sustainable development will be able to participate in this program.
The program will bring together entrepreneurs from different sectors and provide training from experienced mentors and industry experts, the bank said. Nabil SSE has been providing participants with the necessary resources to develop their businesses, as well as helping them establish access to relevant platforms and networks and explore opportunities for financial inclusion.
Nabil SSE has established itself as a driver of social change. Nabil Bank Limited has been operating the Nabil SSE program for three years under its Corporate Social Responsibility. Under this program, fellowship programs and certificate courses are currently being conducted.
The bank has stated that 117 enterprises have been established and more than 1,200 jobs have been created through fellowship and certificate courses under Nabil SSE so far.
The fellowship program is being conducted in collaboration with the School of Management of Tribhuvan University, while the certificate course is being conducted by the Nabil Center for Social Entrepreneurship established and conducted by 11 educational institutions in all seven provinces.
Nabil Bank has been carrying out various social works with the aim of bringing positive change in society under social responsibility. The bank is working with priority in the areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship development, health, education, disaster risk reduction, management and climate change.
