Kathmandu. National Assembly member Narayan Dutt Mishra has said that the problems of teachers should be resolved through dialogue and negotiations.

Addressing the National Assembly meeting on Sunday, he said this. He said that it is not appropriate to leave teachers on the streets for a long time and said that the government should be active in fulfilling their demands. He mentioned that teachers are protesting due to the government’s tendency to agree to solve the current problems but not comply with the laws and rules.

He said, “Teachers across the country are protesting. Let’s resolve their problems through dialogue. It is not appropriate to leave teachers on the streets for a long time.” After reaching an agreement to resolve the immediate problem, those agreements are not reflected in the law and regulations, which shows no credibility.

Speaking on a different occasion, he said that men also have a responsibility to speak up for women’s rights and entitlements.
