Kathmandu. Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has said that he has launched a campaign to end the unrest that has been going on for twenty years, without caring about his life. He said this while talking to media persons on Friday.

He accused the previous federal ministers or provincial chief ministers of not doing anything to end the unrest. He claimed that he had dared to move forward, saying that while launching the campaign to end the unrest in the health and education sectors, there were attempts to provoke him from various places.

He said that the hospital was closed immediately after 20 hospitals were found to be operating without registration during a single day’s monitoring of 21 hospitals in some places in Madhesh. He said that the previous governments may have been unable to act due to various threats, and informed that he would continue the campaign even if it meant risking his life to end the unrest.

Chief Minister Singh said that fake doctors were found playing with people’s lives in all eight districts of Madhesh Pradesh. He said that even fake NMC numbers of doctors were found in hospitals opened without standards. He said that ambulance drivers and people who had studied UNMI and AHEB were also found running the hospitals.

Chief Minister Singh informed that he was conducting a campaign to end the unrest in the hospitals as the SEE was approaching. He told the education officers of all eight districts of Madhesh that they are prepared to suspend the center director if any cheat is found in the SEE exam.
