Kathmandu. The ‘Privacy (First Amendment) Ordinance’ has been approved by the House of Representatives.
The House of Representatives meeting held on Wednesday approved the ordinance by a majority. The notification to reject the ordinance was rejected by a majority.
After that, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel presented a proposal to approve the ordinance. The proposal was passed by a majority. With this, the way has been opened for the government to bring a replacement bill in place of the ordinance.
