Kathmandu. The threat of military rule has increased in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has had an interim government for the past six months after the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was ousted by a movement. Nobel Prize winner Mohammad Yunus is leading the government in Bangladesh as an advisor to the interim government. But the army chief has made a warning speech, accusing the political parties of being in disarray, causing unrest, and activities that are weakening the key sectors of the state.

Yunus is responsible for transferring power through peaceful elections. But the rivalry between Khaleda Zia’s party, BNP, and Jamaat-e-Islam is growing. On the other hand, the party of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Awami League, is now banned. Hasina is in exile in India, while all the high-ranking leaders of her party are living abroad and running the party. Army Chief General Waqar Ujjwala is the son-in-law of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
