Kathmandu. The Department of Internal Revenue has sought suggestions for the formulation of the Finance Act and budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83. The Internal Revenue Sub-Committee formed by the department has issued a notice.
For the purpose of providing suggestions to the Revenue Advisory Committee, suggestions can be made on income tax, value added tax, excise duty, education service fee, electronic service tax (DST), and taxes levied on e-commerce.
Suggestions on other internal taxes levied in accordance with the Economic Act, policy and legal reforms and procedural simplification on the issue of overall tax system reform, and improvements to the business environment and the overall economy can be sent to the department.
The department has stated that the suggestions should be provided by 2081 Chaitra 05. .
