Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the social media bill will not be curtailed even by an inch. He said this while addressing the International Conference on Digital Crime in Kathmandu on Thursday.
He informed that things that lead to tyranny, anarchy and distorting society, as well as things that belittle and insult civilization, culture and glorious traditions will not be acceptable.
He said that doing things that destroy cultural things and doing politics of hate will not be acceptable. He pledged to control and stop things that ruin someone’s behavior, business, break someone’s family, defame someone’s life, spread distrust, and spread confusion.
Prime Minister Oli said that crimes like rape are unacceptable and that protesting against such things when they are being said to need to be controlled is a baseless argument. He said that anti-social things should be stopped. He informed that people consider success in criminal acts as success.
