Kathmandu. The number of devotees has increased at Pashupatinath Temple on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.
This year, Mahashivaratri falls on Wednesday, Falgun 14. The gathering of Naga Babas, saints, and sannyasis has started in the Pashupatinath area from today itself.
Sages and saints from neighboring countries including India have arrived at Pashupatinath for Shivaratri. Every year, devotees throng Shiva temples on the occasion of Shivaratri.
From tonight onwards, devotees light lamps and observe fasts in Shiva temples including the Pashupatinath area. .
