Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Gyan Bahadur Shahi has demanded that the government immediately send him, saying that many local levels in the country, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City, are without Chief Administrative Officers.

Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting held on Tuesday, he made this demand. He accused the government led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of never working for the benefit of the people. He said that work has stalled in many municipalities due to the absence of Chief Administrative Officers.

Speaking at a special session of the House of Representatives, he said, ‘The lion has gone to the villages, the palace has not gone. The Oli government has never been good to the people. Today, the Chief Administrative Officer has been kept in abeyance in many municipalities in the country, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Today, the salaries of all teachers and employees in the country have been frozen. Today, only in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, cleaning employees have not been able to get their salaries. This will bring the Oli government to its knees.’

He warned against stalling local levels by stopping employees under the guise of the government.
