Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have earned a total insurance premium of 24 billion rupees more by the month of Magh of the fiscal year 2081/82.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority today (Monday), the 14 non-life insurance companies in operation have earned a total of 24 billion 274.1 million rupees in total insurance premium.
Shikhar Insurance Company has earned the highest total insurance premium in the 7 months of the current fiscal year, while National Insurance Company has earned the lowest.
Shikhar Insurance is the first to earn the highest insurance premium by the month of Magh of the current fiscal year. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 3.132 billion in 7 months.
Similarly, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance is the second largest insurance premium earner. During the review period, the company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 2.9376 billion.
According to the data released by the Insurance Authority, Siddhartha Premier Insurance is the third largest insurance premium earner. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 2.4474 billion during this period.
Similarly, IGI Prudential Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 2.268 billion, Neco Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.952 billion, Himalayan Everest Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.921 billion, NLG Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.621 billion.
Similarly, The Oriental Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.525 billion, United Ajod Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.401 billion, Sanima GIC Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.385 billion, Nepal Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.259 billion, The data shows that Prabhu Insurance earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.38 billion, Rastriya Bima Company Rs 945 million, and National Insurance Rs 693.4 million.
