Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have earned more than Rs 24 billion in total insurance premiums by the end of Magh of the current fiscal year 080/082. According to the details made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority today (Falgun 10), the 14 non-life insurance companies in operation have earned a total of Rs 24 billion 274.12 million in total insurance premiums.
Shikhar Insurance Company is the first to earn the highest insurance premiums in the first 7 months of the current fiscal year. The company has earned Rs 3 billion 132 million in insurance premiums during this period. Sagarmatha Lumbini is the second to earn insurance premiums. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 2.9376 billion.
By the end of Magham, Siddhartha Premier Insurance has earned Rs 2.4474 billion, while IGI Prudential Insurance has earned Rs 2.268 billion.
Himalayan Everest Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.921 billion during the same period, while Neco Insurance has earned Rs 1.952 billion.
Similarly, NLG Insurance has earned Rs 1.621 billion in 7 months, while Oriental Insurance has earned Rs 1.52 billion 52 million.
As of mid-Magh, United Ajod Insurance has earned a total insurance fee of Rs 1.40 billion 14 million. While Sanima GIC Insurance earned Rs 1.3852 billion, Nepal Insurance earned Rs 1.2595 billion.
Prabhu Insurance Company earned Rs 1.388 billion in 7 months, while National Insurance earned Rs 693.4 billion in total insurance premiums. The government-owned National Insurance Company earned Rs 945 million in total insurance premiums.
