Dhanusha. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has said that local products should be promoted to keep the economy moving. Inaugurating the multi-purpose commercial building built by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction under the Ministry of Urban Development in Lalbandi, Sarlahi today, Deputy Prime Minister Singh expressed confidence that the commercial building built in Lalbandi will help increase economic activities in this area.
‘This building will serve as a place to market all local products, from materials and food produced here,’ Deputy Prime Minister Singh said after the inauguration of the building. ‘This will not only benefit Lalbandi Municipality, but if the youth use it, it can be promoted all over the world.’
Deputy Prime Minister Singh handed over the building built in Lalbandi to the municipality immediately after the inauguration. Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that the Ministry of Urban Development will do the work to make the economy dynamic and urged people to focus on moving forward with the work of the commercial building as per its purpose. “I am confident that the activities here will send a positive message to make the economy dynamic,” said Deputy Prime Minister Singh. The building was completed at a cost of Rs 54.152 crore.
