Kathmandu. National Independent Party MP Toshima Karki has accused Health and Population Minister Pradeep Poudel of stalling the health insurance program. Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, she made this allegation.
She accused Minister Poudel of spreading an ambitious dream of increasing the health insurance limit to five hundred thousand and now trying to get away with it by citing budget shortage.
She suggested that Minister Poudel make the health insurance program mandatory from the family and the ministry, saying that he was trying to take advantage of the program while it was running. She stressed the need to relaunch the health insurance program.
