Gaddachauki. In Mahendranagar-Kanchanpur, fake candidates have been arrested for appearing in the driving license examination conducted by the Transport Management Office, Kanchanpur on Saturday.
Among those arrested are Asmit Dagoura of Bedkot-5, who appeared in the name of Subash Dagoura of Bedkot Municipality-6, and Asmit Dagoura of Bedkot-5, who appeared in the name of Subash Dagoura of Bedkot Municipality-6, according to District Police Office Information Officer and Police Inspector Jamuna Joshi.
According to her, Subash Dagoura, who appeared in the exam, and Amarsingh Dhami of Bhimdatta Municipality-6, who appeared in the practical exam under the name of someone else, were also arrested, Inspector Joshi said.
They Two others appeared and took the exam, and were arrested with the help of the police and handed over to the Kanchanpur Police Office, said Tarkaraj Bhatta, Chief of the Transport Management Office, Kanchanpur.
Office Chief Bhatta said that both the arrested persons appeared for fake exams and participated in the exams. Chief Bhatta informed that they were handed over to the District Police Office for action.
Information Officer and Inspector Joshi of the District Police Office said that further investigation is underway about the arrested persons.
“Investigation is underway against the arrested persons,” said Inspector Joshi. “We will decide on the charges against them only after the investigation is completed.”
