Kathmandu. A person has died after being hit by a roller on an under-construction road in Purano Kalimati, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Sane Gurung, a resident of Gangajmuna Rural Municipality-5, Dhading, according to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
Umesh Syangtan of Makawanpur, the driver of the roller who was absconding after the incident, has been arrested from Syuchatar, Nagarjuna Municipality-10, Kathmandu, informed Superintendent of Police Kaji Kumar Acharya, spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office. According to him, he has been arrested and sent to the Police Circle Kalimati for further investigation and action today.
